No. It was a glorious haven in Limerick. The breakfast was superb, the bar cosy and the staff attentive. The room was divine and I’m sorry that I didn’t have more than two nights to enjoy my stay. Oh, and the spa! Blissful.

Situated in the heart of Limerick, the 4-star award-winning Limerick Strand Hotel is next to the River Shannon. What a lovely hotel; Arrived at 6pm having spent all day travelling (flights/car hire), was greeted very warmly by the reception staff who very kindly made a booking for the restaurant. Hotel is very "classy", lovely reception area, really nicely laid out. The room was great, super comfy bed, & the Rituals shower accessories was a classy touch. Food in the restaurant was delicious, lots of staff on duty who provided a very friendly service. Car park had loads of spaces, & the lift takes you right up to the reception area. This, & its sister hotel in Galway, are both superb hotels, & I'll definitely be staying in them again.
