Plus, the WiFi is surprisingly good for such a remote place, hitting around 30mbps, which is great for staying connected. Just a heads-up, due to the location, the internet might drop during storms, but that's a small price to pay for the beauty and peace you get here. Overall, Vogelkopf Resort is an excellent choice for an stress-free vacation with a bit of adventure and a lot of natural beauty."

Situated in Pulau Mansuar in the West Papua region, Terimakasih homestay has a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property offers sea views. Every thing is more than our expectations from the time they picked us up from the port in Waisai. Mario is superb, he was always friendly and willing to help, he organised a ferry to send us to another homestay next to his free of charge and asked us to have the lunch before we left. As for foods, I think the foods they provided were good and delicious. The staff were very friendly too. We liked our room, the bed was wide and comfortable. House reef is one of the best, I wish that we should planed to stay longer.

Situated in Pulau Mansuar, Nyande Raja Ampat provides accommodation with seating area. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony. We recently returned home after a wonderful five night stay in one of Nyande's over the water bungalows Nyande is well deserving of it's high rating. The owner Andy has put meticulous thought and care into covering all the bases when he designed the place. His staff was always buzzing around taking care of the bungalows, surrounding grounds, and preparing some of the most delicious meals we had during our entire month in Indonesia. The reef directly in front is beautiful and continued to be even more so as we snorkeled east towards and past the village. Heck, it was also gorgeous heading west past the other home stays as well. The night sky visible from our deck was magnificent! It felt perfectly safe to leave all of the doors and windows open as we slept which felt magical. We will highly recommend Nyande to others and sincerely look forward to returning.

With sea views, TABARI DIVE LODGE is located in Pulau Mansuar and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, terrace and barbecue. Free WiFi is provided. Brigitte and Gef are lovely people who did everything to make our stay pleasant. The food was delicious and varied. The cabins are beautiful and well maintained. There is no air conditioning in the cabins on the island and the humidity must be 100 percent and hot... there is electricity in the evenings and sometimes in the mornings. The dives were really good. I recommend taking a close personal diving guide because the currents are very strong in the water and it is difficult to dive even for those who have a lot of diving experience.

Everything was perfect. We had a great time in Turtle Homestay. Direct access to a fantastic beach with incredible snorkling. Foods are excellent. A great experience !

Great place to stay in Waisai, I stayed one night for layover en route to homestay on Gam Island. The 2 rooms are both clean and comfortable and as presented online. Pedro is a great host - super friendly, happy to set us up with a Birds of Paradise Tour in town.

Situated in Besir in the West Papua region, Raja Ampat Blue Sea features a balcony and inner courtyard views. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace. I loved the place! That reef that you see in the picture has the most amazing corals and sea life. It's perfect for snorkeling or just swimming. Paulus is a wonderful host, very proud of the beauty of the islands where he lives, and he will take you on an amazing trip to enjoy this paradise. He's very into nudibranches and little ocean creatures. He has few books about the ocean life in the dining room to enjoy. Regarding the bungalows, they are comfortable, with their own bathroom and a table to prepare your morning tea or coffee. They will bring you the rest of your breakfast. Lunch and dinner are really good! The atmosphere amongst the people who stay in the bungalows is nice and friendly. We all shared great times together, even though we met for one or 2 days. And the highlight of the accommodation is Paula, the cure cuscus who loves bananas. I'm so happy about choose this place to stay. I'll be happy to come back in the future!

Facing the seafront in Fam, Or Mandira Guest House features a private beach area and barbecue facilities. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. I really enjoyed my 5 days here. I was the only guest, so I had the whole beach (several kilometres long) to myself, which was fantastic. And at night all I could hear was the soothing sound of the ocean waves. The beach is just a few seconds away from the bungalow. Because it is by the sea, the waves are quite big and the breeze is a blessing in this otherwise quite hot place. And because the beach faces west, I saw the best sunsets in Raja Amapat. As for the accommodation, it is basic, but I had everything I needed. The food was delicious. The family helped me with everything. The father took me wherever I wanted to go and even gave me some tips, which turned out to be the best snorkelling I had in the area (Napoleon Reef and Fam Wall). He even climbed a palm tree to get me a fresh coconut. So I am really happy about everything and I recommend you to visit Or Mandira too.

Efenli Arnes homestay is set in Yennanas Besir. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. The homestay is idyllic and secluded. We were right on the water, the porch is nicely decorated, there's a table and chairs so in the evenings we could easily play cards. In the day, if we weren't diving with Corepen (they come and collect you and drop you off), we would snorkel on the coral reef in front of the homestay which is fantastic! We saw a turtle, ray, squid, clown fish, a shark etc. All three meals are included and Lina's cooking is amazing. We would eat fresh fish everyday. Portion size is very generous so you won't be going hungry. Lina and Arnes are so kind and gentle hosts we couldn't recommend this more. Their English is very limited so just make sure you download a translator app if you don't have data (there's no WiFi). The amenities are basic and you get electricity from around 6:30pm-10:30pm but for us, this only added to its charm. When we passed other homestays, we were always grateful for picking Efenli.
