Umadewi Surf & Retreat in Pulukan features 4-star accommodation with a garden, a bar and on-site dining. The property is situated 10 km from Rambut Siwi Temple. Gorgeous rooms, staff, food, views of the surf. Couldn’t have asked for more, favourite place we’ve stayed in Bali.

Enjoying beachfront location, Bombora Medewi is set in Medewi in the Bali Region. Guests can relax in the outdoor pool or enjoy the on-site restaurant. Everything ….. the location, the room, the service .. everything was so perfect. Our one year old was sick and the people at the hotel were the best : they helped us to reach a doctor, they dropped us the the clinic and then hospital, they were there to clean whenever , they made our stay so memorable and were always positive. Let’s not forget that the place is just top location - right in front of the surf spot, the rooms were so nice and big, and everything was chill and laid back but with a touch of modernity . The food was great and the staff were the best. Thank you so much Bombora , you make this place magical and we will come back !

A beautiful hotel, with four buildings set within a serene little garden oasis, with a shared kitchen and pool, all just a short drive from the beach and sea. The owners and staff were lovely, and made our stay perfect, helping with motorbike rental and laundry. Surfboard rental is also available. We stayed in both the wooden bungalow and the Deluxe Double Room, and we found both perfectly charming. The bungalow was less sound proof, but the rustic design was beautiful, and the open bathroom yields a view of stars on clear nights. (The garden does as well. Medewi has beautifully dark night skies.) The deluxe double room was beautiful and modern in design, with a great view of the garden. Both rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the WiFi was strong throughout. We greatly enjoyed (and extended) our stay, and would love to come again. We can't recommend more highly!

We needed somewhere to stay for the night when we arrived from the ferry, it was fine for that but probably wouldn't stay any longer as there's nothing in the area, we couldn't find any food when we arrived even though it was only 8pm all the nearby restaurants were closed. The hotel is clean enough, they have very strong smelling things in the bathroom and the shower is your basic wet room, water was hot though. Sheets on the bed are very thin, as are the curtains, but again as a place to bed down for one night it's fine

Can hire bikes and surfboards from the property and have laundry done cheap. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was fresh and tasty. Would definitely come back.
