Barrico Thermal Hotel features a bar, garden, a spa and wellness centre and terrace in Demjén. The stay at this hotel was amazing. Everything was clean and cozy, the AC worked like a charm, and the water in the pools was really clean because they change it every day. I've read a bunch of comments about people complaining about the noise because the walls are too thin, but that's not true at all! It almost felt like there were no other people around; it was super quiet and relaxing. Breakfast and dinner were great, with a variety of dishes to try. The chocolate ice cream was delicious. They clean your room daily and also change the towels. But the true gem of this hotel is the staff! Gabriella, the receptionist, was so helpful and her English was excellent. She always went out of her way to help us and greeted every guest with a smile. Hotel Barrico, Gabriella is a keeper, get that girl a promotion or something :) I'd advise everyone to go to this hotel because it's very relaxing and in such a beautiful and quiet area.

Situated in Eger, 700 metres from Eger Castle, Erla Villa features accommodation with free WiFi. Lovely suite. We arrived very early, like at 9 in the morning but after explaining that we drove all night and my husband just wanted to nap in the car on the parking lot for an hour or so... they opened up our room..... diner everyday was amazing, over the top perfection, gorgeous garden.

The room was comfortable, and with the window open you could hear the stream gurgling, which was very soothing. The owner's personal attention and care for guests is particularly noteworthy.

Located directly under the Castle of Eger in the historical town centre, Imola Udvarház Dessert Hotel offers air-conditioned accommodation and a restaurant with Hungarian cuisine. This little gem must have the best view in Eger. The view from our apartment living room and bedroom was fantastic and at night quite magical. The castle and old town were transformed from a beautiful view to quite something else! Having been to Eger some twelve years ago I was keen to show my husband this lovely old town and it did not disappoint. So much so that we extended our stay by another night. We were fortunate to have dinner in Macok Bistro, which is attached to the hotel, and all I can say is that it was wonderful. We enjoyed the four course tasting menu on one night and went back another night for a la carte. It is clear the kitchen staff understand food. If visiting Eger, I can highly recommend both the accommodation and the restaurant.

Surrounded by woodland, this extensive resort offers a spa with Finnish saunas, a coveredable open-air swimming pool, an indoor jakuzzi, a squash court, and free Wi-Fi. We booked this hotel as part of our road trip in Hungary and were very happy with our choice. The communication with the hotel was great and smooth. I asked them to prepare a bottle of wine as a birthday gift and they did great with that including adding a note. Both breakfast and dinner were great, the wellness area was also great and there were many other activities at the hotel which made our stay more fun. The room was spacious and the location was also nice, very close to the natural park. Overall it was a great stay.

Really well equipped for kids, the Africa theme is really nice, loved the Meerkats in the hotel. Great outdoor animals and play areas....huge labyrinth was a lot of fun. My five used the spa twice and really liked it. Pool bar food is really good. Staff were friendly and remembered my room number.
