Friendly and helpful staff, beatiful view from the room, lovely breakfast and a tasty but not uptight fine dining restaurant, offering lovely cocktails and a wide selection of local wines and delicacies. The hotel is constantly developing new infrastructure for guests and has been taking care to maintain the facilities in good condition.

Completely renovated in 2018 and enjoying a prime location in the centre of Opatija, Heritage Hotel Imperial - Liburnia is just steps away from Slatina beach. Super good: bed is huge and comfy, room is spacious, bathroom of a nice size, room is quiet and clean. Unobstructed sea view from the room (booked a sea-view room) . Classic style, high ceilings, nice little balcony. Great breakfast. Super friendly staff - they saw at the check in that my husband will have a birthday while we are in the hotel and they brought us a free bottle of a sparkling wine! So nice! Hotel has own parking, but also a nice parking place just 10 meters from the hotel. Price is quite the same (5 eur less for 2 days at a hotel). Location is super - short walk to everything in Opatija.

The breakfast spread was incredible. The room was clean. The staff went out of their way to make the stay great. The small town close by was idyllic.
