Rooms are clean, views are spectacular from the rooms. We wrote a comment after booking asking for a high floor room and our request was taken into consideration. The beach is really nice to swim in with plenty of space through a combination of beds and bean bags . Breakfast is also amazing with a combination of ordering from a breakfast menu along with an open buffet. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay and will definitely come back again!

Completely renovated in 2018 and enjoying a prime location in the centre of Opatija, Heritage Hotel Imperial - Liburnia is just steps away from Slatina beach. A very nice hotel in a historic building with high-ceiling rooms that really add to the luxury setting. Excellent service and superb 5 star breakfast (the quality of food and all the choices were beyond expectations, plus there is champagne). We liked it so much that we ended up coming back for another night at the end of our trip!

In the year 2000 („Millennial“) we were one of the very first customers staying in this lovely renovated hotel. And since this time we are coming back again and again. It is a truly special hotel. One of our favorite hotels in Europe.
The location was fantastic and very easy to find. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped with everything you might need. Fresh towels were provided daily for use at the beach or pool, which was a nice touch. The beach managed by the hotel was just a 5-minute walk away, and the staff there were incredibly polite and kind to us. It’s a small, charming beach where hotel guests can enjoy reserved seats and umbrellas. Additionally, there were convenient facilities like toilets and complimentary water available. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, offering a wide variety of options to choose from.

Breakfast was excellent. Nice variety and it tasted great. The room was outstanding. Everything looked clean and modern. This hotel was rated as a 3-star. It is easily 4-star quality at a 3-star price. The bathroom was immaculate with nice tile and a very nice shower. By far, the best bathroom I have ever had in a hotel--regardless of stars. I typically avoid 3-star hotels because in many European countries (Spain, Italy, etc.) 3-star hotel rooms tend to be dated and falling apart (usually the bathroom). I am so glad I was presently surprised by my last-minute vacation hotel booking. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to vacation on Krk Island. This hotel is also pet-friendly so it is also ideal for couples with a pet.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Will definitely go back! Just close enough to the beach to feel you are there, but with a very nice feeling of semi-exclusive privacy too. The management obviously are very meticulous, and that is reflected throughout the entire hotel, and in the great attitudes and diligence of the staff as well.

Very pleasantly surprised — a perfect holiday with a toddler. Clean rooms and facilities, great food, nice pools, beautiful pebble beach nearby, several nice hotel playgrounds (in the natural shade od pine trees) and indoor playrooms for kids, polite and helpful staff, and kind and reliable children animators. Overall - we had an awesome vacation in this hause! We were there as a family of two adults and three kids, and the place could easily accomodate even more people. The location is right by the cozy fishermen‘s haven, a treat to look upon from the house‘s balcony or the terrase. Going to the beach is a ~5 min walk along the water (entry free of charge, and having the necessary facilities as well as a nice bar). The water in this „fjord“ is warmer and saltier than in the open sea - which actually makes swimming more pleasant. The hause has air condition (except one bedroom) and absolutely everything that a family needs during 1-2 vacation weeks. The hosts, Bogdan and Milena, are VERY hospitable, helpful and friendly people. We are looking forward to come back the next time!
