Located in Zabok, 27 miles from Cvjetni Square, Akademis CUT Zabok provides accommodations with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. We were there just for an overnight stop on our road trip, and it definitely exceeded our expectations! Starting with the lovely Ivana, who was our point of contact; she was so friendly and approachable and made the check-in process really easy for us since we arrived around 11 pm. The room was spacious, and the bed was probably one of the comfiest I had ever slept on! The breakfast was excellent; they even had plant-based milk, which I usually have to request, and most of the hotels we go to don't have the option. The restaurant staff was really nice as well. When we checked out, we were given the cutest gift bag, which contained many Cut Zabok branded items. It was a really nice surprise; I have been using the water bottle every single day since then! Overall I really hope we can visit Cut Zabok once again, but next time for at least a week!

Located in Donja Konjšćina, 30 miles from Zagreb City Zoo, Holiday Park Zagyland provides accommodations with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. We had a fantastic stay. The hotel is exceptionally clean, food fabulous and the fantastic staff where extremley welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Located next to Medvednica Nature Park, Hotel Terme Jezercica offers 5 indoor pools with 2 whirlpool tubs, 3 outdoor pools, 4 Finnish saunas, 1 steam bath and a wellness center. I booked this hotel for my mother so I can only write down what she told me :) She was more than happy with the hotel and the room. Everything was very clean and new and she couldn't have a better option for her 10 day wellness trip. The spa and wellness opportunities were great and the staff was very helpful. She will definitely book again and come back.

Hotel Zagi in Oroslavje is conveniently located near the A2 motorway leading to Zagreb, 12 mi away from the capital. It offers free WiFi, a breakfast buffet and free parking. The rooms were clean and comfy. The highlight is the restaurant downstairs.

Terme Tuhelj Hotel Well spa hotel is located near a spring of thermal water, in the Hrvatsko Zagorje mountain region, 25 mi from Zagreb. The spa was amazing along with the hotel design, staff, grounds and definitely the food. By far one of the best hotels we have experienced and would highly recommend to any one.

Featuring an indoor pool and a restaurant serving local specialties, Hotel Matija Gubec offers accommodations in Stubičke Toplice, 28 mi from Zagreb city center. Free WiFi is offered in public areas. An exceptionally kind and professional staff who went above and beyond to accommodate us. The room itself was a bit small and cramped for the three of us, but as we spent most of the time at the pool and sauna we didn’t mind.
