We especially liked that on the day of departure we could leave our luggage at the hotel and shower and change clothes later, because our flight was late at night. Very kind girls at the reception who are at your service for any necessary information.

Skiathos Thalassa, Philian Hotels and Resorts has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Skiathos Town. Everything. The staff are without exception all absolutely brilliant. So helpful and always smiling and happy. Not just a faceless team but individual members of staff all happily working together. They are interested in talking but always remain courteous and respectful. Thank you to the reception ladies who were particularly helpful in finding us another room for the night when our ferry was cancelled. To Dimitris, to the girls in the breakfast room. To Christopher and his team in the bar. To the chef and kitchen team and to the cleaners. Thank you. You should all be very proud of the service you give and the lovely people you are.

Just got back from an amazing holiday in Skiathos. Villa Nina was absolutely perfect. The lovely owners, Rania and Stelios were so friendly, welcoming, professional and polite. I was welcomed with a complimentary drink by the pool, which was a lovely gesture. My single room was perfect for me, as a solo traveller. The pool and bar area is so inviting and a great area to hang out , have a drink, something light to eat, meet other guests and best of all get to know the lovely Rania and Stelios, who love to help and advise guests on things to do, places to go, places to eat, how to get around, reservations, nothing is too much trouble for them, they really just want all their guests to be happy. The view of the sea and beautiful green hillside, from the pool area is absolutely stunning. The cleaners clean the rooms every day and do a great job, my room was always clean and fresh. I cannot praise Villa Nina, Rania and Stelios highly enough, they really made my stay perfect. I'm so looking forward to returning in September, for what will be my second of many more trips to come. Lovely 2 nights to finish our island hopping adventure, nice room, breakfast was delicious and the sun beds around the pool were really comfy!

The hotel's right in the centre so all the restaurants, the bus stop and the boat trips are in a few minutes distance. The place is just beautiful, there's peaceful music playing all day in the garden, creating even more relaxing space, and when you're coming back in the evening, the garden is glowing with hundreds of fairy lights. You can just tell Lia took great care when designing the space. I recommend checking out the terrace as well, great place for reading or planning your day. Small but filling breakfast is included. The staff is so friendly. I'll definitely stay at Hotel Kastro again when I come back next year.
