The charming Mr. Florian came to pick us up from the ferry and helped us unload our luggage. We cooked an excellent breakfast in the kitchen. Quiet area but very close to everything. We will definitely be back if we return to Poros.

The neoclassical and family-run, Manessi Hotel is situated right below the clock tower of Poros, at the heart of the port, offering spectacular panoramic views of the port and the beach of Galata. Location perfect,right across from ferry dock with 180 degree view from balcony.If you like to watch yachts mooring right in front of you, will love it.On main waterfront road lined with restaurants,bars,shops.But fairly quiet. Room was deluxe,king bed,big for Greece bathroom,good shower and its own balcony!Big furnished roof deck with sea view. Front desk very efficient and friendly.We had some problems and they were quickly fixed.Our cleaning lady came every day and did a terrific job.Stay so nice we stayed an extra day.

Alex and his wife Andra were very welcoming and friendly, they made me feel at home from the first day. Alex was very helpful with suggestions about Poros and the area. The hotel is situated about 30-40 minutes walk from Poros port where most of the bars, restaurants and shops are located. But there is an excellent bakery nearby and a fairly good supermarket for daily provisions. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated in rustic style, with air conditioning, an electric kettle and two-ring induction hob for cooking. Comfortable bed. Nice views to the sea from the small terrace and a large garden at the rear of the hotel amongst trees. It's a 10-minute walk to Askeli Beach, for an early morning dip in the clear, blue waters. There are a few restaurants along the beach.
