This was simply my best experience with the hotel over 5 last trips to Greece. Filoxenia Kalamata is a great one with respect to everything. One one hand, it is large and comfortable one, with many facilities and inner courtyard with pools and sun-loungers and even a private beach where you can safely let your kids enjoy swimming and having fun outdoors. On the other hand, it looks like a cozy place and offer the vibes of a small friendly beach inn, as the buildings are only 4 floors high, and everything perfectly fits the environment. The personnel is super-friendly, the breakfast variety is impressive, and the quality of the food is high. The pebble beach accessible from the inner yard is also very good.
Smeštaj u glavnoj zgradi za 5 zvezdica. Soba u zgradi do glavne zgrade za 4 zvezdice. Hrana odlična. Bazeni super, bilo gužve za vikend. Što se tiče plaže jedini problem je da pređete tri metra kamenčića do peska u moru, more čisto, tri dana smo imali manje talase ostalo vreme more je bilo mirno. Usluga na bazenu i na plaži (barovi) super. Dimitris je legenda. Sobe svaki dan čišćene (hvala osoblju na trudu), posteljina menjana, peškiri menjani svaki dan. Blizu Atina, blizu Korint, ima šta da se obiđe i vidi. Ovo nam je dvadeseto mesto i hotel u Grčkoj gde letujemo i u top pet je. 90% turista su građani Grčke ostalo Englezi, Nemci, Rusi, Ukrajinci, Srbi, Francuzi, Italijani (to vam je u ovih 10%) tako da će te doživeti mediteran u potpunosti i na pravi način jer nema kontinentalne evrope u velikim brojevima.

Great hotel that exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was amazing, plenty of choice and lots of homemade products. We also enjoyed the cocktail menu in the evening. The grounds were wonderfully kept and all the staff were lovely. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

We really enjoyed our night stay out of high season. The whole feel of the place was peaceful, the perfect place to relax. Communication with Rena before and during our stay was great. The apartments are modern and exceptionally clean; we had a very comfortable stay. The best part was enjoying a drink in the evening sitting on the terrace in the restaurant below watching the stunning sunset.

Beautiful traditional hotel in a wonderful village, just a few steps from the beach. Super nice hosts, with good advice on how to spend our time, and very attentive to make us feel comfortable. Excellent breakfast and coffee. Even if it was a bit rainy, we still enjoyed scenic walks in and around the village.
