The place is completely new with astounding views both from the balconies and garden. In case someone would consider taking Lagem Pass (which is much more picturesque), I would strongly suggest staying at Gaul Gavkhe delivering top standard.. Super welcoming family with delicious food served!

Hotel Chatini Mestia is set in Mestia, 1.1 km from Museum of History and Ethnography and 1.7 km from Mikhail Khergiani House Museum. Me and my son spent one night at Chatini. Everything was great - big comfy bed and linens, light blocking curtains, nice balcony, rich and delicious breakfast, great bathroom (shower curtain or wall would make it perfect). Boasting barbecue facilities, Mestia Hotel Amirani is situated in Mestia in the Samegrelo Zemo-Svaneti region, less than 1 km from Museum of History and Ethnography and 1.7 km from Mikhail Khergiani... The hotel is in a quiet location only a short walk to the main street shops and restaurants. The room was a good size and was pleasant. Our room had a side view of the town but others would be better. Giorgi our host was friendly and helpful for a special request.The power went out after storms and he and the staff did all they could to make breakfast still nice.

And most importantly the staff are very kind and considerate, they even arranged a surprise anniversary setup in our room and let us leave our luggages after checkout. We had a really memorable stay.
