Der var tænkt på ALT! Fantastisk beliggenhed, smukt og gennemført hotel og værelse. De efterkom vores ønske om en placering højt oppe og havde i forbindelse med min mands 30 års fødselsdag ydet den fineste gestus til os med vin, frugt og chokolade på værelset, samt lavet en håndskrevet kort til min mand, helt uden betaling. Vi følte os så værdsatte som gæster. Personalet hilste høfligt og i morgenmadsbuffeten var der en virkelig hyggelig atmosfære og venligt og interesseret personale. Vi spiste morgenmad, den fulde engelske morgenmad alle dage, fordi vi synes at det var det hele værd. Morgenmaden var en af de bedste oplevelser på hele turen og det siger ikke så lidt. Skøn varieret mad med fokus på den høje kvalitet og standard samt meget detaljeorienteret.

The hotel is conveniently located and has a beautiful interior. The staff is very friendly and made it possible to store a bicycle securely inside. Absolutely great value for money, highly recommend it!

We booked 2 lodges. One was higher up and had a nice view over a green and the other was more secluded. Both were nice. They were a good layout and really comfortable. The facilities are good. We ate at the restaurant both nights. Service and food were good. Cheddar Gorge and the shops, restaurants, coffee shops etc are close by and within easy walking distance and definitely worth a visit. We walked from the site to Cheddar Gorge which was ok on the Saturday and Sunday but on the Friday there seemed to be a continuous flow of huge lorries going to and from the quarries on the main road near the site. I assume it must be like this on all weekdays.
it doesn’t feel like a hotel, it feels like an apartment. which I like. the people I’ve met are nice, everyone respects each others’ space and belongings.
The staff was exceptional!! Fish and Chips the BEST!! Wonderful stay! Our waiter was great!! Def return!! Beautiful place loved our room !! Location perfect!!
The thing that stood out the most was the staff…so friendly, down to earth and most helpful. In particular Ella, Eli and Natalie were superb at their job and full of great personality. The hotel itself is very modern with fantastic leisure centre/gym. The beds were also very comfortable 🙂
