Gorgeous hotel, one of the best stays I had so far. Location is a walking distance from the most of Newcastle attractions (e.g. Newcastle castle and cathedral, Gateshead and Tyne bridges etc). Lovely stuff, spacious modern rooms and delicious continental breakfest. Absolutely recommended!

The Lemonfield Hotel is located on the seafront in Sunderland's Seaburn. Rooms include a TV, tea and coffee-making facilities and a private bathroom. Some rooms have a sea view. Room was small but very cost and warm. The only point is that the motorway is nearby, so you can hear the cars moving (in case of windows overlooking the seashore). But it is not a problem at all with the window closed. Rooms were cleaned every day, altogether with tea and coffee resupply. Good wi-fi and a small desk to work. And the most important, the seashore within the reach of your hand (not the 1st line, but it does not matter and I checked the map before booking)

Located next to the Stadium of Light, the home of Sunderland Football Club, Hilton Garden Inn is situated 15 minutes' walk from Sunderland city centre and 5 minutes' drive from the sandy beaches of... I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. What impressed me the most was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The reception team went above and beyond to assist me, especially when I needed a taxi. Despite the taxi booking system requiring a reference phone number, they used the hotel’s number, making the process hassle-free for me. The hotel's location is ideal—close to the Stadium of Light and not far from the station. The restaurant also served a delicious dinner meal, adding to the positive experience. Additionally, I accidentally left my bag at the hotel lobby, and the reception promptly took care of it, ensuring it was safe until I returned. Their professionalism and attention to detail made my stay much more comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional customer service, convenient location, and welcoming atmosphere.
