This charming, 19th-century converted farmhouse is just a mile from junction 31 of the M1. It features real log fires, traditional British meals, and bright, elegant rooms. Visited from Canada and stayed here with my family / relations for my mother's funeral - the Red Lion staff were amazing throughout our trip - their food was incredible and everything was friendly, warm, caring and charming - just what you need at a time like that. Amazing place and I highly recommend - just a bit tricky getting to into the place off the roundabout - be careful! Appreciated the free parking and everything was great. Also appreciated the fan in the room as I found it a little warmer than what I'm used to.

The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. During my first day in, I had a problem with an adaptator I had purchased at the airport, and it actually made the lights go out in the whole room. The staff was kindly enough to provide me with another room, and they were very helpful during the whole stay. The location of the hotel was excellent, as it was super close to the railway station and the city centre. Over all, the stay was wonderful! I would definitely come back here if I ever return to Sheffield.
