Although the pub is over 300 years old with traditional stone walls and a thatched roof, the new annex features newly built, well-appointed rooms are clean and comfortable, featuring nice furniture, ample modern electric plugs, and a lovely bathroom with coffee and tea amenities. This was an incredible location, with outstanding service, meals, and comfy rooms.

Sunley Hotel is located on University of Northampton, Waterside Campus, Northampton. The town centre is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The rooms in the hotel are equipped with a flat-screen TV. Staff were very friendly. It was clean. Location was brill, 10 mins walk to town..Breakfast was better than expected it was full English rather than continental. Parking was easy, plenty of space. Definitely would go again.

Very stylish hotel, brings you back in the 1920th where elegance was still present. Such a diference to the modern boaring uniform hotels. I wish there would be more such hotels in the country. Mercure Northampton, which rebranded in May 2024 after £1.4 Million refurbishment, is situated in Northampton town centre, just 5 minutes walk from the railway and bus station. The hotel was very clean and up to date. The room was quit and a I had a good sleep.
