This splendid Georgian house sits in 7 acres of peaceful and picturesque gardens. Dating back to 1790, it offers individually designed rooms and traditional fine dining in its elegant restaurant. It was unique and fab to see an older house being shared so all can see the charm .. did you go for one of the larger rooms when you compare the price to other hotels it was well worth it. Room service was great and breakfast was lovely. I don’t think there was one thing I asked for stuff that was an issue.

Originally built as a farmhouse in 1672, the Fieldhead is situated on the edge of Charnwood Forest, just 7 miles from Leicester and 1 mile from Junction 22 of the M1. Room very comforatble . Breakfast choice superb (need new toaster !) we had a family dinner for 8 one night and the food and service was excellent. Staff helpful and friendly

The Holiday Inn Express Burton on Trent is located in Centrum 100 Business Park, situated on the A38, just south of Derby and the A50 spine road. All of the staff were wonderful and worked so hard .
