Built in 1863, this Grade II listed building features a stylish restaurant and en suite accommodation just a few metres from a tributary of the River Welland. Food was excellent. Accommodation was excellent. The atmosphere was excellent.

This hotel is set in some of Derbyshire's most idyllic countryside, built around a Norman mill tower along the banks of the River Trent. The walk along the river banks. The setting is really lovely and very peacfull.
