As always, the Golden Lion shine! Very clean and confortable, quiet. With a friendly staff. Location is perfect (arriving by bus or by car). Breakfast have a lots of options and again, the staff is 👍

The Waterfront Hotel, Spa & Golf is located just off the A1 road, midway between Cambridge and Milton Keynes. Comfortable bed, nice shower, clean room, all good.

In the scenic grounds of Huntingdon Racecourse, within 30 minutes’ drive of Cambridge and Peterborough, Holiday Inn Huntingdon Racecourse offers modern air-conditioned rooms. Hotel was in a really good spot room was very comfortable and dinner was amazing. I opted for just veggies my sister got stuffed chicken and she said she’d never had such tender chicken in her life, wish I had ordered that.

Boasting excellent transport links, this contemporary-style 4-star hotel is set on the outskirts of Huntingdon, just minutes away from the A14, linking to the M11 southbound and the A1(M) north. Loved the breakfast, coziness, pool and friendly staff.

Situated in Huntingdon centre, the George Hotel is a historical inn with elegant rooms and a traditional ale bar. Huntingdon Railway Station is a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is a historic building dating back to the 15thC and was once the home of Oliver Cromwell's grandfather and later the HQ of Charles I. So it is a place full of history, charm and character. We loved it. Of course some things are dated and the upkeep must be an ongoing task - so if you want all modern fittings, shiny plastic and standard off-the shelf hotel accessories - look elsewhere! The staff are absolutely the tops; the room was warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean; parking is free and adjacent; the breakfast was generous and excellent. It's a minute or two from the town centre on foot, and 10 minutes to the rail station. We ate in the restaurant one evening: the meal was good quality 'pub food' at a reasonable price. We'll be back.
