My wife and I and our dog were delighted with our stay at the Finnygook Inn. We spent one night on our hike along the Coastal Path. We arrived in the late afternoon and settled into a clean, tidy, and spacious room with a lovely view of town. The room had a mini fridge, coffee machine, hot water kettle, and the bathroom had a tub. We enjoyed an exceptional, memorable dinner in the Inn's restaurant, where the bar was bustling and the dining room was full, and each dish we ordered was delicious. After a good night's rest, we departed in the morning. We are especially grateful for the chef's generous gifting of a breakfast sausage to our puppy, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, we had a lovely time and would definitely return.

All the staff must have been chosen so carefully, it's very refreshing to see every member of staff happy in their jobs and more than willing to make guests feel welcome. They were happy enough to store 2 medical ice packs in the guest freezer for me and made no big deal about retrieving them for me every morning.. The cleanliness of the hotel is outstanding, congratulations it's most impressive and makes one feel relaxed knowing such care and attention have been given in keeping the hotel spotless. I would highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express Bodmin as a central base when driving around Cornwall.

Hyggelig afslappet stemning i byen. Vi spiste på The Dock, fremragende engelsk pub grub og meget billigt, ikke turistet. Vi gik The South West Cornwall Path med Penzance som et godt udgangspunkt.
Vores rundtur i Cornwall bragte os til Penzance. Vi tog forskellige udflugter herfra bla. til Scilly Isles, og St. MIchaels Mount. Fantastiske oplevelser. Vi gik langs kysten til Sct. Michaels Mount. for at tage nogle geocaches på vejen, og blev fragtet til øen i små både pga. højvande. Her fik vi også et par caches. Turen hjem foregik med en lokal bus, vores ben var trætte efter den lange gåtur.
Saint Mawes
Dette er en lille overset by, som man bør opleve på en tur til Cornwall. Hotellet ligger fantastisk centralt - lige ud til vandet.

The whole experience was a total escape from real life. Beautiful setting..calm and tranquil environment no loud noises no bright lights... The staff were genuine and friendly.
