Set in Craobh Haven, 15 km from Kilmartin House Museum, Corrie House offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. We booked 'Corrie house' due to its location, WOW !!! THOSE VIEWS !!! The Lounge and our bedroom had the most amazing views of any property we've ever stayed in. The property overlooks the marina at Craobh Haven and the numerous surrounding west coast Scottish isles. Our Hosts Roger & Sally whilst relative newcomers to the B & B business were outstanding hosts. Our arrival was marked with a complimentary beverage as Roger explained those stunning views, the location of the local pub along the pathway below and recommendations as to what's good to see during our weeks stay. Our bedroom was well proportioned had an outside balcony and benefited from numerous quality furnishings, dressing table TV, tea/coffee making tray etc & ample wardrobe space to hang/store our clothing. The ensuite bathroom was fitted to a very high standard and included nice touches such as a button on the wall to pre-heat the walk in shower, plus bath robes with slippers. Corrie House offered the most amazing fresh cooked breakfast using only quality ingredients that were well prepared and arrived in ample portion sizes. Table service was managed by Roger, .........nothing was too much trouble. We thought it wise to pre-order 4 evening meals prior to our arrival at Corrie House, again the quality of the evening meal dishes coming from the kitchen shone out. (help-diet) We'd brought our 15yr Border Terrier with us, he was made to feel most welcome by Roger & Sally (and other guests) The property has a large decking area in which to sit and enjoy westerly views, there's even a hot tub and a garden for guests to use. Corrie House is stated as 5 star B & B. It truly is,....Elaine & I really appreciated our home from home. Thank you xx

He had informed us very well about the possibilities of the restaurant and its limited opening hours. Nevertheless, we kept our booking anyway. And then you get to arrive (much later than intended, but that's Scotland for you...😅 way too much beauty not to stop in between) the peace and quiet, with a beautiful letter on the door containing all the explanation that was needed. In the morning we were received a Scottish welcom, warm and pure, with a joke on the side.. But then breakfast! Wow! Delicious, everything and more than you could wish for. And to finish we got some nice tips where we could find more beautiful things on our walks, wonderful, there are no words for it. We will definitely come back! That is for sure

The location was great, right along the seafront in Oban. The place was spotless and in excellent condition. But what set it apart for us was the staff and the overall service. Carrie was informative and friendly throughout our stay. From the warm welcome, to helpful information during our stay, through to the friendly goodbye to us and our dog on departure, she and the rest of the staff made the visit one we hope to repeat. Breakfast, too, was well executed and made for a nice start to each day.
