This beautifully set-up recreation of aWW2 Normandy farm house is a stunning place to stay. Close to the American D-Day beaches and numerous airborne drop zones it is the perfect spot for historical touring. The owner Charles is a wonderful host, even transporting my son and I to a local restaurant and the train station . The museum outside Carentan was a brilliant bonus visit but Charles’ wonderful hotel with its authentic atmosphere, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast was the highlight of our brief visit!

This hotel needs an overhaul, the accommodation was very tired. Our air con did not work, plug sockets coming away from the wall and a lot of black mould on the bathroom tile grout. The photos give a good idea of the room size, but it’s all in need of a revamp. The staff were friendly when checking in and helpful when we asked for additional fans. The beds were clean and comfortable and if all you need is some where to crash after a day out on the D-day beaches the location is excellent with secure parking.

The large room on the top floor was beautifully updated and spotless with a great Channel view. The owner, Marie Caroline was most helpful during our stay and to honor June 6th in the name of the hotel was really special. We chose the location because it is about in the middle of the 5 D-Day Beaches and the town with its rich history was really nice too. Breakfast was delicious every morning and dinner at both of Marie Caroline's restaurants was spectactular.

The apartment is located in a small town, with shops and bakeries within walking distance. It is spacious and comfortable. The kitchenette is well-equipped and the bathroom is adequately big. The apartment's location makes it a perfect choice for visiting the western part of the Normandy region (including the D-Day beaches, and historical towns like Bayeux or Caen). The hosts were very friendly and considerate.

The hotel was ideally located in the centre of Caen. Caen is very nice, with plenty of restaurants and shops. Driving in the region is good, with little traffic if you are exploring the D-Day beaches. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I arrived early morning from the overnight ferry and they allowed me to use the bathroom to get washed ahead of my afternoon check in.

Great location if you stay there and travel around in the region (Bayeux, D-Day beaches, etc.) or to/from Paris because the apartment is just near the railway/bus station. Spacious apartment, well designed kitchen with sofa available. Washing machine is a great convenience. Shower/toilet are fine too. Coffee machine and coffee capsules were available - very pleasant bonus.

Exceptional location! Great place to start visits to all the D-day beaches, Bayeux, Caen, Honfleur, Deauville. The hotel was PERFECT ! Rooms were large. Staff and Manager/owner were very nice and helpful. All the area belonging to the hotel was very clean and perfect. The food at the restaurant was delicious with a great price/quality ratio. Free parking availlble. Free wifi.

This hotel is very unique as it has many pictures and D-day aviation memorabilia. Great location just steps away from the main square and the Arromanches D-day museum. In addition, Arromanches is a great location for exploring the D-day beaches by car. Hotel is owned by a lovely French couple who were very friendly and considerate. Room was very comfortable and roomy.

Good location, close to sights and town, close to harbour and channel. Halfway between town of Bayeux and D-Day beaches. Breakfast was good, same choices each day. Parking is good. Rooms are small and very basic but clean and comfortable. Very quiet area and noise in hotel very minimal. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good wifi. Lobby area small but confortable

The location is superb. It's in sight of the cathedral and close to everything of interest. it is also very close to the Normandy D-Day beaches for those interested. Staff are warm and friendly. Parking is not free but is very convenient. Our favourite hotel in Bayeux. Walking in the town after dark - much lit up beautifully - is not to be missed.

Everything! Location to all the attractions in Bayeux, the D-Day beaches (not to be missed) and a drive to Mont Saint Michel. This apartment is very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Loved throwing the windows open and listening to the chatter on the street below. Super friendly town! Feels very safe.

Good location for touring Bayeux and the D-Day beaches. It has a nice restaurant that we have dined at before and looked forward to using again, but the restaurant is closed on Monday (the hotel gave some conflicting advice on that topic in their email to us). Good (free) wi-fi with no silly log-in process.

Very nice apartment in the center of Bayeux - easily accessible with dedicated car parking space outside. Spotlessly clean with some nice touches to welcome guests. Great location for wandering around Bayeux and also an ideal base for exploring the D-Day beaches and battle sites.

Great location between all the different d-day beaches and bayeux. Asked for recommendations for dinner and they not only recomemded but rang through 3 different restaurants to get us a booking. Fantastic service. Room was comfortable clean just what was needed for a step over.

Spacious holiday home for four! It was clean and warm upon arrival. Our beds were made, the kitchen is well equipped. Bathrooms have everything you need. Pleasantly surprised! Great location to visit the D-day Beaches and sites of this beautiful historic part of France.

Beautiful hotel in a very pretty setting. Close to everything if you are visiting the D-Day Beaches The hotel has been in the family for 5 generations and the care and attention for everything is very noticable. The restaurant was excellent Would highly recommend

Sleeping in an old barn in the middle of little nowhere but not far from D-Day beaches. If you want fully disconnected stay then this location is for you. The restaurant is convenient and correct. This family-run hotel will bring you to “la France rurale »

Loved the property, the spacious apartment and beautiful garden. Location is great in a quiet village close to the D-day beaches, the restaurants of Courseulles-sur-mer. Nice bakery and small supermarket are at walking distance. Great host!

Superb view over the sea. Convenient location to visit the D-day beaches and museums. Little local store/bakery around the corner. Parking space in front of the building. Apartment has been renovated not too long ago.

The room was clean and we had received fresh towels and a newly made-up room every day. The location is also very central if you want to see things like the Bayeux tapestry, Caen Memorial or even the D-day beaches.
