The location was good, with an excellent view on the river. The staff were all very kind and helpful, and parking was secured. The access to the hotel was easy.

Located in Rocamadour, Hotel Le Troubadour welcomes you in an old 17th-century farm renovated with a heated swimming pool. It is set in the heart of a large park. Despite our off-season and very short visit to Rocamadour , we very much enjoyed our stay at the Le Troubadour - a little heaven close and distant enough from high-season crowds. Tips for the close-by villages, the very practically set up breakfast and the breakfast wine were surely good fuel for the rest of the trip.

From the spacious, well-equipped and superbly comfortable bedroom to a thoughtfully-designed bathroom with large walk-in shower, it was by far the most pleasing stay in a long time. The decor throughout was modern and interesting. The dinner and breakfast were of exceptional standard. The staff/owners were welcoming and made guests feel as though nothing was too much trouble. The spectacular Gouffre de Padirac is not far, along with the other many delights of the region.
