New, spacious (unbelievable bathroom for a road hotel), very clean, quiet. Breakfast is quite good for French standards :)) (buffet, scrambled eggs from egg powder and overfried bacon, but still you can have something hot early in the morning even on holiday. Also an egg can be boiled.) Normally, it's possible to visit a restaurant somewhere in vicinity, but on Christmas eve everything was closed. Still we got food just from the bar and this option was really helpful! Although it was just warmed up canned soup and chicken stewed with vegetables, everything was eatable and nicely served. It's also possible to have pizza, different snacks and desserts.

He is very kind, he made us feel so welcome, the hotel restaurant was closed while we were there so he pre-booked us at another restaurant in town. I am so happy we decided to stay here instead of in Limoges because the town was so stunning. Also, Thierry has a dog Omega who is the cutest and makes you feel right at home. It has all of the best vibes of a classic french Chateau with modern amenities. I look forward to staying here again.

The other rooms are upstairs. The hotel is close to the tapestry museums and the main street. Breakfast was generous and delicious, as was the evening meal we had there. We highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

We can enjoy very much typical Limousin scene with tranquility surrounded by forest. Since no restaurants and no shops are found, we need to go to Limoges city for dinner and shopping.
Limoge as a town is not spectacular and feeling the hard times. However it has an honest French Southern town feel to it and Limousin is an excellent place for walking with fewer tourists than the Loire or further South
Rather nondescript village, but quite close to the A 20 motorway. Might be a useful base for exploring the Limousin, but probably best as a stop over to/from the South.
Limoges is a beautiful little gem in the Limousin region of France. It's perfect for a short stay and dose of French culture. There are many typical french restaurants and some nice bars to try out. Le Quartier de la Boucherie is something special, like taking a step back in time to Medieval Limoges. The old city around the Cathedral is also very special! I would highly recommend visiting here!
Blond is a small village in the Limousin area, not much too do but quiet and enjoyable...a nice stop en route to many stops in the French countryside!

A small town with good restaurants, interesting history and good location from which to explore the Limousin and nearby regions: Berry, Charente and Perigord Noir.
The staff was lovely, friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Not too far from train station. Nice neighborhood with an organic grocery store nearby. It is also around the corner from one of the funkiest bars we've ever encountered Bar Le Limousin. Breakfast was lovely with a large selection of goodies. Overall It was comfortable enough to allow us to enjoy Limoges.

The staff were excellent and the wooden caravan was so cute, as a family of 3 with a dog it was ample space for us. The water pressure in the shower was really good and the drinking water the best we’ve had in France!
