The location was perfect to explore the area of Pinos Genil, Monachil, Güéjar Sierra etc. where there are many walks and villages to explore. Very easy drive to the Alhambra which is about 10km away).This hotel also accommodates cyclists. Our bedroom was very large with a comfortable bed. Our bedroom was east facing so cool in the afternoon. Great aircon. West facing rooms have a balcony which would provide some shade (overhang). The pool was awesome with some shade and sun loungers/beds to relax on. Sensible rules are in place to make the stay good for all customers. Lovely lounge area for guests to sit and read a book and also a pool table. The breakfast room and outdoor eating area is available for guests to enjoy the own meals. Essential crockery and cutlery is available for use throughout the day. There is a microwave. No cooking equipment. Each bedroom conveniently has a bar fridge where food /drinks can be kept for personal use to enjoy in the communal dining area. All dirty dishes are put on a trolley and collected and washed by a wonderful lady (aka the fairy). Some drinks are available for guests on an honesty basis. Breakfast at a very reasonable charge is available to guests (no need to book). I will definitely stay here again if in the area.

We loved everything The room was perfect and the whole house is more than charming. Pedro the owner was the most hospitable and friendly Contributing to the lovely experience are the beautiful golden retrievers, his bunnies and also klementina the turtle. His staff is great as well in every way- caring for all details, and all with a big smile. The recommendations as to hikes (Pedro) and restaurants around ( Natasha and her colleague) were perfect.
