It is architecturally fascinating, tastefully decorated with many unusual features. Staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. We loved everything about it! The breakfast was lovely! Set in the small white-washed fishing village on the Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve, Family Agua Amarga offers an outdoor swimming pool, solarium and free private parking on site. Nice and quiet place, great location if you plan to visit playa de los muertos or playa de enmedio. The breakfast is exceptional and the staff very friendly and helpful. We had a great time staying at Family Agua Amarga.

Offering views of the Sierra Cabrera Mountains, Boutique Hotel El Olivar is set in the historic town of Mojacar, in front of the Arbollón Square. The beach is 5 minutes’ drive away. Location was great. Breakfast was fantastic, better than expected. Bed was very comfortable and shower was amazing. The staff was extremely friendly, they really made us feel at home. It is excellent value for money.
