Loved the small city of Jaca. The cathedral provides the main historical interest. The old streets have interesting little shops - fashion and jewellery - and numerous tapas bars and restaurants. You may find some restaurants where not much English is spoken but that adds to the fun of ordering food! Great base for exploring the high Aragon valleys and mountains.
Huesca is a marvelous town in the north of the great and historically important region of Aragon in Spain. Some of the Aragonese kings who were important in the early stages of the Reconquista are buried in San Pedro the Viejo there. But the marvelous place in Huelva is the great cathedral complex - filled with interesting, important, and very early art. Not to be missed!!. The museum was good.
Excellent place to visit with a lot of history but a modern city that allows time for visits to excellent restaurants to enjoy the delicious gastronomy of Aragon. Getting around was easy and not expensive and its people were friendly and honest.
Saravillo se encuentra en el corazón del Pirineo Aragonés, y es ideal para conocer la región del Sobrarbe, y en especial el valle de Gistaín. Es una base ideal para realizar magníficas excursiones en la montaña, como por ejemplo al Ibon de Plan. Debes tener en cuenta que es un pueblo muy pequeñito, y no hay opciones para tomar un café o cenar en un restaurante en la noche.
Lovely town! Recommend a visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of Pilar, stroll the streets of El Tubo, taste the fruit of Aragon, if there is time, go to Belchite. Don't miss the Tavern El Sardi, for dinner, outstanding! For breakfast the Dolce Vita Pastry, superb!
A place to sleep not for a holiday! Wifi only in the bar and very slow. There is nothing in La Puebla de Hijar. It's convenient for Motorland Aragon but little else.
The heart of Aragon, ancient and modern, so much to see and do. Eat at Donde Siempre, inexpensive and wonderful. Great city, nice people.
Compared to stars like Zaragoza, Huesca is underrated. The alabaster altar in the cathedral has to be seen when the setting sun hits it through the West windows. Great choice of restaurants. Great base to visit the two hotspots from which the Aragonese Reconquista started: Loarre castle and the San Juan de la Peña monasteries, all in breathtaking Pyrenean landscapes.
Jaca
Centrally located apartment with a superb common area. We needed a room with a kitchen or kitchinette to be independent with food for our Aragonian trips and near to the old town, exactly what Casa Campanilla offers. Apartment was selfserviced and access was through a key door code, no stress about reception opening times. Raquel immediatelly responded all our questions and all went smoothly. Booked for 3 nights initially and then added 2 more nights, because Jaca has so much to offer!
The gentleman who check me in was very polite, efficient and extremely helpful. Room was very clean with towels and toiletries. Hostel is located in quiet area(my room was at the back) Close distance to town centre. Good starting point to explore this part of Aragon. Very good value for money I am happy with overall experience I will strongly recommend
Canfranc-Estación
The apartment suited us perfectly - living room, bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and parking space were all very comfortable and pleasant to use. The location was perfect for us providing quick access to walks, restaurants, shop and the main attraction - Train Station, nowadays- the Hideaway Hotel and the Aragon River. We stayed as a family of 4 adults and a dog.

Great location for the nearby Motorland Aragon race circuit (40 mins away), safe free parking outside, 2 good bars and a supermarket very close, excellent evenings meals available at hotel and English speaking staff were really friendly and helpful, will be returning!

One of the best accommodations in my life so far: fairytale location, wholesome food and very warm hosts that made us feel like home from the moment we rang the bell. This place is like the one that you cannot wait to tell your parents and friends about and you dream of taking them with you in a future visit! Excellent, so easy to check in (in your car at reception) to your garage under room, excellent service, menu available for evening meals and breakfast, and all brought to the room. Large room with large surface/table to eat on or use as work station. All staff friendly and spoke very good english, pay for food at reception at check out. Only 1/4 mile from motorway.
There was a good view of the mountains from the road. They give a complimentary bottle of wine at check in.. they did have a pool and a playground for kids. The grocery store didn't bother to turn on lights, so it was hard to see what they had. Do yourself a favor and spend a couple more euros to stay in one of the hotels nearby.
