You get there and the bottom level looks like a run down office building. But then you get out of the elevator and it's like an oasis in the middle of the old town of Cairo. The room was large, clean, air conditioned, and the staff was great. The bathroom and shower were also excellent. We walked within 10 minutes to the Antiquities museum. I HIGHLY recommend a restaurant nearby called Oldish (7 minute walk) for breakfast and lunch. For dinner there is great Italian food at Cairoma (around the corner). The staff at the hotel asked me for advice about what they could improve which is always a great sign. They actually care.
