Kelli and Lauri are a great creative team! Their lovely 4 room hotel/restaurant is right on the beach inside Lahemaa National Park, next to a fine harbor deep enough for serious sailboats. Kelli and Lauri are both excellent Chefs... from Elk Wrapped in Bacon with Currant Sauce to Mussells in a rich, spicy broth... It's all good! And meals come with a variety of fresh Home-Baked Bread, all served in a comfy, window-lined dining room, upstairs and down. (Check out the wood-fired furnace made from a Soviet-era sea mine...Totally hip.) The area has miles of forest hiking trails, well-marked and well-kept. I was there in winter with fresh snow and a faint Aurora Borealis hanging above the lighthouse. I hope to return in late spring for hiking/biking... and more of Kelli and Lauri's wonderful North Estonian cooking! Terviseks!

Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa is a hidden treasure on the northern coast of Estonia, in the pristine Lahemaa National Park close to the Baltic Sea. The bathroom is very clean and the floor is heated, a wide choice of food at breakfast, one key gives access to your room and all other buildings around. There is a big windmill 5 minutes walking from the hotel and they give you a huge ancient key to open it and get inside, the kid was amazed to do it. The spa, the restaurant, the rooms are in different buildings, but it is not a minus. The separated location of so many historical buildings gives the territory a picturesque view and the feeling that you got in the past. One night isn't enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the place.

Surrounded by the beautiful nature of Lahemaa National Park, this historic estate is located close to the coast of Northern Estonia, between Tallinn and the Russian border. The Garden is gorgeous. There is a interesting fitness circuit in the garden. The place is peaceful and its location is really good. The staff is friendly and the rooms comfortable. The restaurant is excellent. We recommend highly.

Wonderful accomodation at the best location! Spectacular coast, museum and small supermarket only a few meters away. Beautiful coastal and forest walks start right at the village. The house is very spacious, the beds comfy and the kitchen well equipped. Loved the sauna! Will recommend this place to everyone!

Set in Kolga-Aabla, Aablaranna Puhkemaja offers accommodations with a flat-screen TV. The property consists of 3 different houses with double rooms. 1) The hosts were very nice and very responsive; moreover, it was nice that they live on the property. 2) Incredibly nice showers, and sauna looked to be good as well (although we did not try it. 3) Clean, well kept, and with an extremely comfortable bed. 4) Located in a pretty part of the country. The nearby shorelines is very nice. Background note concerning responses in this review: There are three rental cottages on the premises; we were in #2. The others looked to be similar size, but we don't know whether everything in our response would apply accurately to them.

Sinisalu Apartments is a private holiday house located in the beautiful village of Käsmu, known among Estonians as “Captain’s Village”. Such a lovely home! The cherry on top: single blankets for the two of us: no "fights" in the bedroom 😅
