Chescos Hotel & Hostel is located right in front of Salinas Beach on the Malecon of Salinas boardwalk. Free WiFi access is available. First, we got an email in English with very specific directions to get to the hotel by bus or by taxi. We also got a WhatsApp message the day we were to arrive, confirming that we knew how to find the hotel. Our first room had a problem with the lock, so they kindly moved us to another room. When we extended our stay, we got a spacious suite and free breakfast. The beds were comfortable, the Aircon worked well and the showers had good pressure. The staff was so helpful and friendly and served breakfast with a smile. The hotel is literally across the street from the beach with numerous eating and shopping places just minutes away.
