Ideally set in the centre of Santo Domingo, Hostal 53 Boutique Santo Domingo offers air-conditioned rooms, a terrace and free WiFi. Even before I arrived, the kind staff communicated well to assist in any requests I may have. When my 3 year old daughter and I arrived, we were greeted by a warm welcome from Michael and was happy to be quickly taken to a ground floor room after a long day of travelling. The room was clean, with cold AC and the bed extremely comfy. Although HB53 is on the outskirts of the colonial zone, it was still close enough to take a walk to get there. One thing I also appreciated was a 24 hour security which added to my sense of ease when I had to check out at 1:45 am. Thank you Michael and team, we will definitely be back.
