We really enjoyed the breakfast and the dinners at the restaurant. The wellness and spa facilities are very nice, as well as the golf course belonging to the hotel. We liked the surrounding countryside for hiking. In the entrance area of the hotel there is a large space for common use with a billiard table and a large TV screen that we used watching sport events. And there is a lovely Café next door to the hotel.

- the wellness area was perfect for what we needed! We spent a lot of time in the quiet room where they were playing relaxing music in the background, it was nice warm and in between we could use the sauna, swim a bit or go outside on the deck if the sun came out - the food was amazing! Big choice for breakfast, you could make your own waffles and they were delicious! You can make your own muesli/porridge and I am sure everybody will find something. The had so many different options of bread/buns. They got pancakes. Ready done made eggs or you could boil your eggs as you like them! As vegetarians we had plenty of options, if you are vegan though the choice would be quite limited! But I could imagine, if you give them a heads up before you arrive, they would arrange something! We had lunch & dinner there as well and it was just fantastic! Huge choice of vegetarian dishes (if you order à la carte) and both of us were full every time which is rarely the case with vegetarian dishes in restaurants! - the staff: everyone was super friendly, thoughtful and we just felt very welcome!

At checkout we were informed that the hotel underwent a big upgrade. It was wonderful to stay in this family run hotel and so welcome in a world of hotel chains that all offer the same formula.
The breakfast was abundant, fresh, diverse, covering a wide range of diets and nutrition methods. The quality of the food was excellent and the staff was attentive and quick to replenish the trays. Many options for tea, 2 different coffee machines, several options for milk or veggie beverages, fruit juices, breads diversity, hot meal, cold cuts, pastries...cannot enumerate all, there were many great things to eat. The double room was bigger than a standard double room, as well as the bathroom and one very big hall, with coffee machine and complementary coffee, tea and water bottle. The single rooms were smaller, but with comfortable beds, clean and equipped also with coffee machines and all the amenities.
