This family-run hotel is beautifully situated on the island of Reichenau, just 500 metres from Lake Constance. Insel-Hof Reichenau Hotel-garni offers a large garden with a sun terrace. The handmade details in decoration like some of the tiles in the bathroom and glasses in some of the windows in the breakfast room were strengtening the "Fachwerkhaus" ambience. Breakfast was exceptional. The staff was very kind.

Everything was great: the apartment is new(ly built), clean, spacious, warm, with a magnificent view on the lake, the hosts are very friendly and well organized. The wi-fi was working fine and there was a big parking space in front of the house. We truly enjoyed our stay and would certainly come back.

It is very close to the lake. Even though the camping was quite full, the beach was never crowded and the shower and toilet was never crowded either. Lovely restaurant on site with generous portions, cocktail night on Friday and live music on Saturday night. Lovely playground for the kids, football field, basketball court kept them occupied. Paddle boat for rent was great!

The apartment has its own terrace and private access to the water. Near the apartment there are several restaurants within about 2 km, the LIDL supermarket is about 6 km away. The surrounding area of Reichenau offers many opportunities for excursions (boat transport, car, bike). There was very good communication with the owners. Everything was kept as agreed. The owners were interested in our satisfaction even during our stay. Thank you again for a pleasant holiday.

Roomy, well appointed, comfortable, airy and cool in summer. Has a LR/DR with entertainment and TV, fully supplied kitchenette, and very large WC with modern clothes washer, though laundry must hang dry. The owner is responsive and owns a handyman service on the property, very helpful upon request.
