I was in one of the newer buildings behind the main building/restaurant. It appeared nearly brand new and the room was nice and spacious. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating when I made several special requests. The mattress in the bedroom was new and felt like memory foam even though I don't think it was. The breakfast was above average for a guest house like this. I highly recommend this location for the service, the facilities and overall experience.

This is a beautiful location with lots of character situated just two minutes walk from the heath. The attention to detail is outstanding, from the outdoors with seating areas, hammocks and lanterns to the indoor decor. Nothing has been overlooked. The menu is locally sourced and delicious. The staff are passionate about their work and go over and above to make their guests' stay memorable. I was travelling with my cat and we were both made very welcome. She even received a goody bag. I would've loved to move in permanently. I really can't praise it enough and highly recommend it.

This guest house lies in a beautiful park in the village of Bothmer, 3 km from Schwarmstedt. Gästehaus Schloss Bothmer is 10 minutes from the A7 motorway and 35 minutes from Hanover. The location is amazing and quiet, the staff is friendly and very responsive. Everything exceeded our expectations. Sita, her mother and Nadia were made our stay fabulous.
