It is an adorable small family-run hotel located on the lake where graceful silence and peace envelops you. Close to ferry connection to the islands Herreninsel, Fraueninsel. The room where I stay was cozy, comfortable, fantastically clean, spacious, with modern & pleasing to the eye style. I enjoyed lovely breakfast — its selection is delicious and varied. Comfortable bed, great shower, daily thorough cleaning… The staff is incredibly helpful, radiant & nice. Thanks for the German hospitality and warm welcome! Got a feeling like I’m at home.

This family-run is located in a 15th-century castle in Bernau, a 7-minute drive from Chiemsee Lake. It features pretty gardens, spa facilities, elegant rooms and WiFi. This is real castle, very beautiful both outside and inside. Perfect location in a Chiemsee area. The apartment is very comfortable, with modern equipment. Everything is designed with excellent taste, in royal style and the highest quality. Wonderful sauna downstairs. Fresh bread in the morning. Every day feels like in fairy tale. Very impressive and inspiring. I’m very thankful to the hosts.

We were a family of 4 with 2 young children and the Maisonette Suite was very comfortable for us. There is an internal staircase to a loft for the main bed, there were baby gates at the top and bottom. Note the stairs are not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The breakfast we had was fantastic! A great variety and very well presented. The grounds of the hotel has a little playground and plenty of space for kids to run around. This leads to a wonderful view of the lake and mountains were there is a jetty with a lovely deck you can sit on and swim from in the warmer months. Location wise it was a very short drive the ferry in Gstadt and also about 10 minutes from Prien. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back.
