The staff are very friendly and kind. The location is very convenient for a walk to Hohenschwangau, the ticket center and the bus stop to Neuschwanstein is just in front of the hotel (you can only go up to Neuschwanstein by the provided bus, a private horse carriage or by walk). We could park at the hotel’s parking even after the check out. We had a room in the historic Jägerhaus building - it was a classic ambience but the lighting was a little too dark. I would definitely go back but rather stay in the new building. At least a night stay in the area is recommended due to the whole day of time spent on both castles, Marien Brücke, the nearby lake (not yet counting the museum of the Bavarian King, renting a boat, shopping at local shops and duty free).

I arrived 20 mins late after my pre arranged arrival of 10-11pm and was really happy to be welcomed from the owners , after being personally showed my room I had a great nights sleep in a very spacious and comfortable room . The breakfast in the morning was was very good with fresh coffee brought to your table . On an evening there is a great selection for meals to choose from the meals I had had the home cooked feel with great quality. I would 100% recommend this hotel great position,great hospitality 🙂
