Featuring 4-star accommodation, Riverside Hotel Plzeň is set in Plzeň, 800 metres from Cathedral of St. Bartholomew and less than 1 km from Doosan Arena. Good sized, bright, very clean room with high ceilings and modern fittings and modern bathroom, overlooking river. Quiet and very central. Arrived very early but staff phoned Manager and got me checked in extremely early, very helpful, thank you. Was able to store my bike safely. Very good value.

The family-run Hotel Rango is housed in a historical building 20 metres from Pilsen's main square. The restaurant serves Mediterranean specialities and fine Czech and international wines. The instructions to reach the hotel and parking area (because the usual access had been closed) were clear and a member of staff met us as promised. Our room was nicely furnished and had a welcome fan as the weather was very warm. The hotel is located just off the central square and places of interest are within easy walking distance. There is an excellent Italian restaurant which is part of the hotel. We were really impressed by the choice of dishes, the quality of service and the deliciousness of the food and wine. The breakfast selection is good with the option of freshly cooked scrambled or fried eggs. The chairs in the restaurant are really comfortable and deserve a mention. The duty manager was particularly helpful but all the staff we encountered were pleasant and friendly.

Stylish furniture and design. Comfortable rooms with own beer spot. Big new bathroom. Very friendly helpful staff. It was nice to talk with some of them during beer testing and I’m very thankful for help to send us some things we forgot in the room.

Plzen is lovely. Five days wasn't enough to see all the wonders. But Pilsen Urquell Brewery is a must, than Angus restoran and Rango restoran. Plzen Zoo is a whole day fun for the everyone.
