A very clean and comfortable room, an excellent breakfast and a friendly welcome. We were traveling with our 2 well-behaved dogs and the owners made us feel that dogs are also welcome here and not just tolerated. This made us feel relaxed. We will go back there again.

Located just 45 km from Park Mirakulum, Penzion Pod Houskou features accommodation in Blatce with access to a tennis court, a shared lounge, as well as private check-in and check-out. The location was peaceful and perfect for walking to Hrad Houska (which was closed but still worth the walk). It was early in the season when we visited. We had a fantastic traditional Czech meal in the restaurant which had a roaring fire and candles. We were asked to help ourselves to drinks and to write down what we had on a card. Breakfast was amazing - a lot of choice and kept us going all day. The host, George, and the waitress were just lovely. They could not have done more for us to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend.
