The family-owned 5-star Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern is located right in the Old Town of Lucerne, next to the lake. It offers a spa area and elegant rooms with modern furniture. We loved everything. The location was excellent. The hotel is close to everything. Although it is on the other side of the train station and pier, it’s actually just a 5 to 10-minute walk. The chapel bridge is between the wall from the station and hotel. Behind the hotel, about 10 to 15 minutes of walking, are the Lion Monument and the Glacier Garden. At check in, we knew it was going to be an excellent stay. The concierge, Noah (I hope I spelled his name right), immediately made us feel welcome. He gave us information, tips and suggestions that made life easier for us. The lady who delivered our room service was so very wonderful as well. The customer service is just top notch: professional and yet warm. Everything about our room was just wonderful. It was huge, the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was clean and huge, and the view was just to die for. Check out was painless and quick, with the same efficient and yet warm customer service. I can’t say enough good things. If we have the chance, we would love to visit Luzern so we could stay in Hotel Schweizerhof again.

Location: just minutes away from Luzern by car. Culinarium is located in a wonderful small town surrounded by nature, mountains & fresh air. Restaurant: Try the surprise menu for a culinary experience. The menus were only in German, but that wasn't an issue as some spoke English. Breakfast was basic but plentiful: with breads, jams, cheese & eggs at your disposal. Room: Scandinavian chic comes to mind. Decor is simple but works well as the natural outdoor scenery shines bright.

This mountain accommodation is set in a car-free zone at an altitude of 1,450 metres above Altdorf and Flüelen. Berggasthaus Eggberge can only be reached by cable car. Everything. This is a rare and beautiful place- Gaby and Andy have poured their heart and soul into making this a relaxed, welcoming and special lace to stay. Excellent food, sustainably sourced and lovingly prepared. We will be back!

It was the most beautiful place I've ever stayed, amazing view, spacious room for the 4 of us, comfort bed, nice bathroom design, we had a nice walk in the morning, fresh air. Definitely we will get back here!

The view is absolutely stunning and breathtaking. The breakfast is very delicious, especially the croissants and eggs benedict. The resort’s restaurants have amazing views. An electronic bidet (shattaf) is available in the bathroom.

The Art Deco Hotel Montana offer rooms as well as luxurious spa suites with panoramic views of Lake Lucerne, the city and the Alps. The hotel was great, the room was spacious and had a big terrace for us to enjoy. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom with the bath tub was really nice. The location was great, and the views from the restaurants were beautiful. The funicular down to the main street was nice to have. It takes you right out to the main street and you walk a few feet to the bus stop or can cross the street to walk along the lake. They also had apples at the start of the hallway for guests to enjoy. The front desk staff and concierge were all so nice and helpful.
