Located in Val Bavona, 1890 meters above sea level, at the foot of the Basodino glacier, Albergo Robiei offers bright rooms with views of the wonderful surrounding mountain landscape. We got stuck here for 3 nights instead of one when a severe thunderstorm has washed away a bridge down in the valley and ruind the road. In this emergency situation, the stuff revealed itself on its full glory. They were helpful and courteous and we had everything we needed in this situation. We stayed longer, we were fed, and all the people were extremely friendly. In general, I can only recommend this place, because the location is stunning, the vistas are wonderful. The hotel itself has a very cool vibe. A special thank you to Marco, the manager. I will certainly return again!

Cristallina is an eco-friendly hotel, set amidst nature in the scenic Lower Maggia Valley. Lovely staff, great food and the private sauna downstairs was the best (sauna usage costs extra). A very early check-in due to the bad weather was no problem. Pet friendly hotel.
