Offering a restaurant serving Ticino cuisine, Posse is located in Lavertezzo, directly at a river where guests can swim and dove during summer. Rooms are modest, but clean, cozy and welcoming. Fabulous location right on the river. Restaurant on site with good pasta and a nice, simple breakfast offering. The hosts are super kind and helpful. Also, a convenient bus stop right in front of the hotel, and we were given a bus pass for the duration of our stay. Lots of beautiful hikes to different villages leaving right from the hotel.

Self-check in made the arrival process quick and smooth. Davide is an excellent host, providing excellent activity and restaurant tips. The room was beautifully appointed, with views to the river and nearby mountains. Car parking was free and directly across the road. Tea, coffee, water and snacks were on a self-service basis and highly appreciated. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. If you want to explore the incredible beauty of the Verzasca Valley, then this is the ideal base.
