Hotel Astoria is located in the center of Olten, 2133 feet from Olten Train Station. It offers free Wi-Fi, 2 restaurants serving international cuisine, and a bar on the top floor overlooking the town.... I used Olten as a base for two days of train excursions. This hotel is very near to the old part of town and the wooden bridge over the Aare River. It was a fifteen minute walk to the railway station. It was a forty minute train ride to Zürich/Zürich Airport, and in the other direction, a similar time to Bern. The room offered had plenty of room, was very clean and had all facilities that I required. Wifi was very good. The breakfast was of continental style, with lots of variety. All staff members encountered were friendly and very helpful. I would use this hotel again.
