Opened in 2014, Vienna House by Wyndham zur Bleiche Schaffhausen is located on the edge of the Old Town of Schaffhausen and features a restaurant with a show kitchen, a sun terrace and free WiFi... I am very grateful to the reception which was very helpful despite our visit on the Christmas Eve.

What a perfect location when arriving by car (could be a bit of a walk from the train station with luggage) Great walking access to the town, the river and the Munot. And some rooms with a great view of the fort. Great breakfast. Evening dining available on site.

Located opposite the train station of Schaffhausen, Best Western plus Hotel Bahnhof is only 200 metres away from the historic quarter and the Rhine River. It offers free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel is very nice. It is right next to the station and road, but it has very good soundproofing, so it is very quiet in the room. Also the road has limited traffic, so it is not very noisy outside. Breakfast (from 6:30 on weekdays and from 7:30 on Sunday) is very delicious: there is full English plus salmon, shrimps, cold cuts, cheeses, salads, croissants, pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurt etc.

Situated amid a park-style garden, this family-run hotel is a 5-minute walk away from the Schaffhausen Train Station and the city centre. It was so clean and the bedsheets don’t smell!

Located in a quiet area in Schaffhausen, 600 metres from the Rhine River and 3 km from the Rheinfall, the biggest waterfall in Europe, Hotel Park Villa features an à la carte restaurant serving... I loved the old feel of the hotel that wasn’t stuffy nor run down.

Hotel Hohberg "Next to BBC Arena" is situated in a residential area on the edge of a forest, 4 km from the centre of Schaffhausen and 6 km from the Rhine Falls. Great hotel! The staff was very friendly, room was extremely clean and spacious, decent minimalistic breakfast. A bit outside the city center so I would recommend coming by car. My highest recommendations to this lovely hotel, my stay was truly great!
