The facilities, the History, the outdoor swimming pool and the people who did everything in their power to make me feel good. And of course the views. I’ll never forget the 2 hot air balloons raising to the sky during the sunset on my birthday.

Located in Beckenried at Lake Lucerne, Boutique-Hotel Schlüssel offers rooms of unique charm in a historic building dating back to 1820. WiFi access is free of charge. The accommodation was very charming, reminiscent of a swiss chalet. Breakfast was delightful. Staff was extremely attentive and kind. We are thankful for the upgrade offered without request. Location is exceptional, close enough to enjoy the city and far enough to experience the lake and country side. Readily accessible to main road.

Set in Dallenwil, Pilgerhaus Maria-Rickenbach - Anreise nur via Luftseilbahn möglich has a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. Highly recommended to those looking to get away from the crowds! Beautiful location high above the valley, yet easy to get to via an aerial tram that departs from the Niederrickenbach train station, a short hop from Lucerne. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, the staff friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent and vegetarian friendly. This is a great starting point for hikes in a gorgeous part of Switzerland - near the hotel, there's a 4 person tram to the Musenalp on the mountain above (https://www.musenalp-nw.ch/bahn/) and it's a 20-30 minute walk to the most unique chairlift I've even encountered (https://haldigrat.ch/). We only stayed two nights - next time we're planning on a longer stay!

The Pistenhotel Klewenstock on the Klewenalp is located 10 minutes from the Klewenalp mountain station. This accommodation is only accessible on foot until 6 pm ( Klewenalp is car free). Location and the food. Away from the city where you can relax and enjoy. The mountains and lake view are amazing.

Right on the shore of Lake Lucerne, Hotel Seerausch in Beckenried offers panoramic lake and mountain views, a lakeside bar, and free WiFi. Since when we arrived, all the staffs shown to be very kind and attentions! The room was really good, and all the services was excellent as well.

The modern Hotel Krone is just a 5-minute walk from the banks of Lake Lucerne and Buochs Ferry Port. It features 2 restaurants and a summer terrace with garden lounge. Perfectly clean rooms, tasty breakfasts and nice staff. Minor technical issues in the rooms solved instantly. The cleaning lady was extremely nice and friendly.
