The Strand hotel in Schmerikon is situated in a fantastic location directly on Lake Zurich. The accommodation has its own small beach, which is reserved for hotel guests only. Our room overlooking the water was spacious and beautifully decorated- my husband, who can be critical, remarked that it was one of the nicest rooms we had been to in an extended time. Lovely small veranda to sit and view the water along with goats (and cute kid goats) grazing outside. Very quiet and peaceful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection and was fresh. Dinner also lovely with good service and nice tables again with water views. There are plentiful tables outside but the weather was a little cool so we sat inside.

Located on the southern tip of Lake Zurich, the Marina Lachen offers 2 restaurants and a bar lounge right on the lake, as well free Wi-Fi in the entire property. Great location on the lake. We enjoyed breakfast on the hotel deck. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a desk and small table and chairs which we appreciated. The hotel is a short walk to the train station.

Situated in Stäfa and within 21 km of Zurich Opera House, Gasthof zur Sonne has a terrace, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. What a great hotel, great size room, and a perfect location and view and on top of that fantastic staff. We arrived by bicycle after a long hot day to be greeted by a happy smiling lady who helped us put our bikes away. As we wanted to start our days ride a bit early in the morning she supported us with an earlier breakfast and great coffee! She was so nice, cheerful and attentive it made our stay in a great hotel so much better! Thank you.

Set in Rapperswil-Jona and with Einsiedeln Abbey reachable within 16 km, Moxy Rapperswil offers concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared... I've stayed here a couple of times now, and the location is perfect and staff are always really friendly, so I will be returning when i next visit. Great value for money too.

Overlooking Lake Zurich, this historic hotel in Meilen is only a 15-minute drive from Zurich. The Hirschen am See Hotel offers a restaurant serving Swiss and international cuisine. Hotel is very cosy, chic and very good located! We loved our stay and staff. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Snowy Alps and Zürich See view was awesome! We loved the breakfast also, simple and delicous. Decoration and comfort of the room was great too! Thank you <3

Our kids loved the extra mile - heart shaped chocolates left on the bed after the room was cleaned! The property is very close to the train station making travel very easy.
