I traveled alone with my dog. Room was not large but very well appointed even with a lap desk. Bed was very comfortable. Spa quality soaps and shampoo. Room was ready for my dog with a water dish. I did not ski but used the spa for an excellent massage. Restaurant cuisine and service was excellent. Breakfast was included. Excellent as well with beautiful mountain views. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Situated right on the banks of the Grenon Lake, the Hotel du Lac in Crans Montana features a lakeside restaurant with a terrace, offering superb views of the Valais Alps. Perfect hotel to spend days hiking and sightseeing, located close to the main mountain (ski) lifts taking you up to the higher level trails. The hotel is really great in terms of price/quality of service. It is a bit old, but it has charm, and it is conveniently located. It is clean, and the management and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast is very good. For dinnner or in the terrace bar, try the beers made locally by them! Doors to the rooms are double room, I have only seen this in larger hotels in Switzerland. Rooms are quiet! You may park in front of the hotel, which is a luxury in this town.
