Located on Galiano Island, the hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Vancouver Ferry Terminals. Great accommodation, clean and tidy. Open the door straight out onto the garden area and access to beach. Restaurant was delicious, wish we could have tried the pizza restaurant but it was not open. Lovely coffee shop and book shop short stroll away.

Lo Sticks and Stones Cottage-Arbutus Grove vanta un patio e una vista sul giardino. Immersa in un ambiente boschivo, la struttura vanta un giardino. Sticks and stones was comfortable and charming. The cottage was well equipped, a 5 minute walk to beautiful shore line, and Ralph and Rocky were helpful. Galiano is amazing - such great hikes, quiet but also with interesting food and culture.

Their view from the patio is our highlight of the trip. I would say this place has best lookout point on the entire island. Especially during sunset time, that view is unforgettable. Our hosts are very nice and welcoming. They even let us play with their chickens, which turns out to be another fun adventure to set the chicken out and put them back in. Thankfully our hosts kindly help us put the chickens back in.

This place is a gem. It’s secluded, right on the water. The pool is wide and warm, the jacuzzi is great for the winter. We stayed in one of the rooms at the main building and they were specious, well equipped and with great view. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Overall 0 complains!
