Located 5 minutes' drive from the center of Trois-Rivieres, this hotel is 10 minutes' walk from the shore of the Saint Lawrence River. I don't know why some people give a bad rate. It is not very exceptional, but for the price which pay it's perfect. It is true that there can be some improvements , but I can't complain. The room was clean, with comfortable beds. The staff is very friendly. The morning breakfast is enough, and pretty good: scramble eggs, sausage, potatoes, coffee, cereals, toast. What do you like more than that? The only thing that I didn't like was the parking area, but this is not an issue. Otherwise the hotel is close of downtown, and shopping area.

Pool was great for our three kids after a long car ride. Breakfast options were good. Worried about waste of boxes though. But I understand the need to conserve amount of food served.

Room was very spacious and beautifully appointed, it was wonderful to spread out a bit after so many hotel rooms. And my legs appreciated spending time in the spa tub after a day of hiking in beautiful Mauricie National Park!! Alain is a great host, he's hilarious and a great cook, too. Plenty of excellent restaurants in Shawinigan for the evenings. Really a lovely spot to stay for a couple of days!

Excellent, very kind hosts. At breakfast you sit together with the other guests, travelers. It was marvelous to chat. The house is historic and refurbished with a lot of love to detail. As it has max 4 rooms all is very familiar in a very positive way. Nice experience! Very recomendable. Excellent alternative to a hotel...well located to go to La Mauricie or Trois Rivieres.
Shawinigan
Just a 30min drive to Mauricie National Park and 10min to Shawinigan with restaurants, gas stations and supermarkets. Parking in front of the motel for free. Rooms were very clean and well equipped. Breakfast is included and was good for the price you pay. The best asset of the hotel are the owner and the staff who were very helpful and friendly.

Everything was like expected - room fine, huge parking lot, booking procedure easy and simple. The hotel is centrally located with a view of the lake and just a little walk to the restaurants and cafés - restaurant Pacini under the same roof (great restaurant by the way). It takes only 20 minutes to Parc de la Mauricie.

We were planning to go to La Mauricie National Park, so the hotel location was perfect for us. The rooms were very large and comfortable.

Good choices for meals and very affordable. I enjoyed having for free access to pedal boat and kayak. The beach is calm and perfect. The lake is just exceptional and the place is beautiful. I just appreciate a lot that this place is still affordable.
