Facing the beachfront, Compass Rose Heritage Inn offers 4-star accommodations in North Head and has a garden, shared lounge and restaurant. We stayed in the Garden Room for two nights. The accommodations were very nice: Everything was very clean and well-maintained, the bed was huge and very comfortable. There was a wonderful view from our windows, a private patio, and a nice lawn behind the hotel with Muskoka chairs for relaxing. The breakfasts were very good! Highly recommended!
Castalia
Providing a tennis court, Geodome water view stay on Grand Manan Island provides accommodations in Castalia. A hot tub is available for guests. The view was gorgeous as was the geodome. We loved the hot tub and stargazing at night.
North Head
The free breakfast was amazing, The location and views were definitely worth recommending. The atmosphere was very friendly. I had booked the place for my parents who haven't travel much in Canada outside of Ontario and Quebec. Grand Manan Island's one of the best reviewed place was Compass Rose. According to my parents, it exceeded expectations. Hotel level service in a more intimate setting. The people, staff and environment was very friendly especially considering we are a different race from the population.
