Assuming that they belong to the same chain as the US-based Quality Inn & Suites, I would never have imagine that this hotel would be this great; it's modern, spacious, and has all the perks and facilities one could hope for (incl. plenty of parking) The room had an odd configuration; it was more like a 2-story loft, and one simply takes a spiral staircase to the upper floow where the bedroom and full bathroom is. The lower floor has a sofa, table, kitchenette and ½ a bathroom, and the upper floor also has a mini-fridge. The bathroom has a huge tub with water jets included; super nice! And, to cap it all, the room had a spacious balcony, complete with 2 lounge chairs! Oh, yeah, and a great view from the room's huge windows. Would absolutely love to stay here again!

Florianopolis is a gateway to one of the best islands I have been too, Ilha de Santa Catarina. So my high ratings are for the island rather than florianopolois, but flor' is still worth a visit with good options to eat and drink in the evening and close to the terminal.

Capital of the state of Santa Catarina, Florianópolis is a big city that offers really good infrastructure if compared to the standards found here in Brazil. I'm from Rio and one thing that I found similar between my city and Florianópolis was that they both have lots of nature right next to the urban area. So you can have this nice mix of trip hiking in the morning and partying in the night on a club. Loved this city and the people in it, can't wait to be there again.

This is avery nice resort at a very nice location. What they call the international hotel stands a bit out from the rest because you have a great view and a somewhat better standard. Recommend.

everything is so convenient. located right at the beach, it takes +/- 3 minutes to walk out the gates and sit at the designated resort location with umbrellas and chairs. the pool is stunning and over looks the ocean, breakfast was fantastic every day, the 3 bedroom cabana we stayed in was lovely. I didn’t play paddle ball but the court was really nice. I enjoyed the cafe within the resort which has a professional pool table. the gardens around the property were beautiful and I loved the living roofs which ensured the view was great from every level.

My adult son and I stayed in the big bungalow with pool sauna. It was in September and rained every day. Because we had a heated pool we hung out and played games. The rain was enjoyable for us. The have a small private beach and island but weather didn’t permit. There is an indoor heated pool that would be good for laps. It was very relaxing as really no where to go except there at facility. The service was impeccable. We have traveled the World first class and this was the best service anywhere. The restaurant was excellent. The chef even made us a special Brazilian dish we were recommended by a friend.
The food is amazing! Lots of great choices. The place is beautiful and very well kept. Great service. Nothing to complain about. When we left, they left us with a small gift bag of cookies. Great final touch! Would love to come here every year with my family and friends!
Excellent everything in Hotel Dos Açores
Stunning location in the heart of the canyons with private trails and waterfall. Staff were always on hand to help organise activities. The room was beautifully appointed and they even ran me a bath ready for my return from my afternoon trek!
