Its functional simplicity and positive vibes, nicely minimal with a wonderful internal garden and restaurant, lovable staff with a Burundian huge heart, superb cuisine (oh that chicken!) and of course with Valery, the owner: A new Burundian-Belgian Friend of mine, sociable, helpful with knowledge for the Country and good English. I felt really at home! Thank you so much for the experience, Val, I hope to come again in your little oasis! A comment also for Burundi: I loved it, it's a safe Country everywhere, the drummers are FANTASTIC don't miss them!, places, forests, parks are unique and safe, food is ok and clean, people are hospitable, sweet and polite but please ...don't walk alone at night. Take one of all these cheap safe taxis, always ! :)

The highlight of this property was that it was affordable and included breakfast. The staff were exceedingly nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property.

Set in Bujumbura, Botanika Hotel features free WiFi access and free private parking. Enclosed space with beautiful garden, clean and quiet, makes you forget the hassle and bassle outside. No pressure to pay on arrival, paid at end, staff always very helpful

Objekat Hotel Safari Gate, koji je smešten u gradu Budžumbura, na 5 min. This is a very comfortable hotel with great facilities! The rooms were good sized, and had all comforts that are important in Burundi and that you'd want. Small fridge, bottled water, mosquito netting, A/C (was a nice surprise!) and a great bathroom. The facilities is very nice. Very garden like setting, off a quiet road, and has a beautiful pool with chairs, a gym for your use, balconies for the rooms, and a nice layout. Their are 2 restaurants: the lunch/dinner place is rooftop from teh main building and easy to get to with good food and great service. Good selection of local and 'western' foods and beers. The breakfast place (which I think also has later meals) is across the street on the Lake! very peaceful place to get your start to the day and portions of the included breakfasts are huge. The Safari Gate is relaxing and comfortable. it's probably 2 km from the city center.

Hotel Club du Lac Tanganyika is located in a wide park that ends up on a marvelous beach on the banks of the Lake Tanganyika. Food was excellent, both breakfast and lunch. The location is beautiful and the place is well kept
